ACTA how will it affect?
okay
so i am a pirate
((yeah yeah get over it))
and seeing how there might MIGHT be a law (hopefully not)
that pretty muchly chokes on our throats so
i am willing to give up pirating
“oh danny boy etc etc etc.”
but how will it affect internet itself?
like youtube will videos that break copyrights even slightly be removed??
and then i have another question
about all the pirated files
should i delete all of them?
i could just move them to external hard drive
and use them offline right?
the worst part is that i cannot really complain not beeing able to pirate
because pirating is free in the first place
if anything i owe internet
but i do not pirate anything that i cannot get today and in this time!
i mostly pirate old movies which i cannot find to purchase on the web or stores
and old games that has far expired the time when i can buy them at anywhere
expect from Ebay or something
which i cannot do
one game: minecraft i did pirate but i also did bought it afterwards
i just wanted to see if the members minecraft is worth it
and what about the normal things i do in the web
will it affect it?
like yahoo answers for example?
you know….all this hysteric panic
about ACTA is silly because not many will
even yet know how it will affect in the internet
is it possible that all this panic is just overrated
and unnecessary????
well i do not like the idea that ISP:s will have to spy on us
but there is not really anything i can do about it so yeah…
meh….
there is life outside the bloody web anyway
it will not be end of the world anyway….
but if there is any chance we can prevent it
then we must do it!
the correct way would be to cause an uproar so media would have
to react to this and on the way they would have to spread the news of ACTA
because i know nobody who knows about it at ALL!
here’s to hoping internet will stay free for all
only the future can tell….
well being that we are given/forced these laws by EU
its not like we have a choice
so talking to politicians is useless
they only want money
which they get by obeying the people who has it
people who has it produce crap
they dont like people who pirate their crap
so rich people give money to politicians
so they can use them as players in game of
people’s privacy chess

Maybe under ACTA more Berne Convention countries (ACTA convention countries) will enact criminal copyright statutes like those in the USA where it has already been a felony to upload (publish) or otherwise copy an distribute unauthorized copies for years, if done for profit.
It appears that ACTA may make it much easier to find and imprison criminals all over the world, so that would be seen by most as a “good thing”. If people disagree with the value of copyright, they should talk to their legistlators and get the laws changed, rather than simply ignoring them and wondering why the police are knocking on their door to seize their computers and anything purchased with money from illegal activities.
