How to blackout text?
An old friend of mine on Facebook posted a status update today. It was about a paragraph long, but all the words were blacked out except for four randomly scattered words. ‘I/love/our/government’. She posted it in protest of the new SOPA/PIPA bills that are trying to be passed. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to black out words. I tried copying it, but all that came up for me were a bunch of question marks surrounding the four words. Don’t ask why I’m not asking her, It’s none of your business.

right click, select all? Maybe that’ll help, then save, and open to Paint, and block out the words that way.
In Word you can do this with highlighting (Home tab, Font group). Select a very dark highlighting color by clicking the down arrow next to the highlighter.
While viewing her page, right click somewhere (not image or link) >
if you are using Firefox:
View Page Source
if you are using Internet Explorer:

then you can see the HTML code and exactly what she did to blackout text.
There are many ways to blackout text. For example you can set the text color to the same color as the background, and set text color to a different one for those few words you want to reveal. The following is a simple example:
