Doing a “Let’s Play” showing content from a copyrighted video game (even if it’s from 20 years ago) will be a criminal act. Doing a movie or TV show review and showing clips from that movie or TV show will also be a criminal act. Reading excerpts or quotes from a copyrighted book will become a criminal act. Posting “how to” videos explaining the operation of copyrighted software will become a criminal act.
F–k SOPA, and f–k this ridiculous attitude of the RIAA and MPAA that they need to go after people simply for having a song faintly playing in the background. It’s the same logic as going after someone for taking a picture of themselves somewhere, say, Times Square, and because there was a billboard of a product or a company logo, suing them for it or telling them they have to photoshop it out. SOPA is so broad that it will affect pretty much everything we do on the internet. Welcome to China.

Everyone here knows Universal is rich as shit. There are other people who are doing wayyy worse things to cost them money. It’s okay though because Universal will do the stupid thing and target a middle class family. They obviously don’t know that you’re allowed to put up to 30 seconds of a song on here. If they were smart they’d have this baby help them advertise!
