Google it & find out.
not been passed.
You know how I know? I visit memebase everyday for new rage comics. I am SURE that if it passed, all the comics would be about SOPA and how it sucks. Instead, it’s about Skyrim and such
Nope, not that I know of, because I think that if you just asked this question, you wouldn’t be able to go on Y!A
It has not passed yet, we find out next week I believe. It looks like it won’t pass though.
Also, megaupload was taking down because of piracy, for real reasons.
SOPA and protect IP is suppose to stop piracy. Which is fine, in my opinion. The problem, is that they are going too far. They are hurting more than helping. SOPA and protect IP won’t stop piracy, instead they will take down sites that have nothing to do with piracy and haven’t done anything wrong.
Also, piracy is becoming less and less of an issue anyways.
I think the website you could be thinking of is one that is based in the UK. tvshack.net that used to be owned by Richard O’Dwyer. The details about him and his website are here on wikipedia.

I’m sure after everything is said and done he will be writing his life story, and it will more than likely turn into a movie… That’s how things go when individuals are so badly treated.
