Her Parents came to Canada 14 years ago, She cant speak tagalog! Exept for basic words salamat o po .Thank you Manny for letting her learn as fast as she could.. To do this.. Its Hard for Canadian and American kids of filipino decent to keep up the language, never mind the proper accent. But hey even in the Phillipines they have different accents when speaking tagalo.some one from Cebu will not sound true Tagalog for example.

I don’t get it why people makes negative unsolicited criticisms, don’t you get the main idea of the video?! it showcases how proud we can be for being a Filipino, gosh attitudes like that are the reason bakit hindi umaasenso sa buhay.

Guys,before you judge this child,better know the whole thing about her.Maria is half Canadian and Half Filipino and she sings the national anthem more correctly than those people who sings it wrong even though their pure Filipino and older than her.This child is really talented hope she will fulfill her dreams and god bless
