Why aren’t more people aware of the internet getting censored and social networking sites getting shut down?

this new bill called “stop online piracy act” and protect ip act threatens to shut down sites like youtube, facebook, twitter, tumblr etc.

i don’t care because i honestly don’t believe the government that we know today will exist in 10 years
regardless how you feel about these occupy protesters , some cop is going to get stupid and hurt someone , then some one in the crowd will get mad and shoot the cop then all hell will brake loose
then they will pass a bill to come get the guns, then OH boy you ll have all the hillbillies and rednecks and hood rats teamed up with the occupy people
unlike Greece there are more guns than people in this country so it’s going to get messy quick
i’m staying as far as possible from those protests
Unfortunately some people have brought this down on us due to their egregious trolling..those sites have really not down all the great things they were intended to due; so maybe some people will actually, and I know this will frighten some folks, go out and interact with others and not pile up in hate filled covens on the net. Also the proliferation of these chat rooms that have encouraged pedophiles have become the newest cautionary tale. I truly don’t think this bill will pass but time will tell.
